Magnesium bath salts consist of dry flakes of magnesium chloride hexahydrate. It is more practical and economical for use as an ingredient in body and foot baths. These flakes consist of approx. 47% magnesium chloride. Magnesium has a relaxing effect on muscles and nerves and is needed for normal muscle and nerve function. Magnesium is also needed for normal energy metabolism.

Bathing in magnesium salt is wonderfully relaxing. It moisturizes the skin and makes the skin's natural barrier stronger, it speeds up healing and reduces inflammation.

A magnesium bath is also good for those who have tense muscles, exercise pain or difficulty falling asleep. It's just as well to take a foot bath instead if you don't have a bathtub.

People with sensitive skin often prefer magnesium baths to applying the more concentrated magnesium oil. It is also suitable for children.

Ancient Minerals Magnesium Bath Saltscontains highly concentrated and pure magnesium chloride extracted from the Zechstein fossil seabed approx. 2km underground in what is today Holland. These deep underground deposits have been untouched for 250 million years and have not been exposed to the pollution of our time. Ancient Minerals magnesium bath salt is produced by heating magnesium oil so that part of the water evaporates and a dry product is formed which consists of approx. 47% magnesium chloride.

Since magnesium attracts water from its surroundings, the flakes will turn to liquid form if left out in the air. Therefore, keep the bag properly closed.

Dissolve about 3-10dl (250-750g) of the magnesium flakes in a bathtub or foot bath and enjoy for 30 minutes or more. The water should not be hot, just warm so that more magnesium is absorbed. For a more therapeutic body bath, a larger amount is used. Intended for external use.
